As an Account Executive at Datastore., you will be responsible for generating, engaging, and successfully closing new business opportunities for Datastore’s advanced information management services and solutions in our new, state-of-the-art Madison operations center. We seek highly motivated, self-starters who are seasoned business-to-business sales and marketing professionals. Ambition, persistence, commitment, professionalism, loyalty and enthusiasm are critical to your success. Previous formal sales training and/or experience in successful technology and information management sales to Government, Higher-Education, and other industries - as well as a successful sales record with enterprise content management (ECM), document imaging, and/or Microsoft SharePoint services would be considered a significant plus.
Role: • Generating new business opportunities through cold-calling, networking, professional business relationships and other self-motivated activities, targeted account campaigns, and innovative marketing techniques. • Develop a comprehensive sales plan and report regularly on success and deal close ratios in order to meet annual sales quotas.
Desired Experience • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated success in business-to-business solution sales environments; • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written; • High degree of professional presence, image and confidence enabling interaction at any level within an organization from “C” executives to information technology or line of business professionals. • Detail oriented; ability to manage and close complex sales engagements; aptitude for technical details and business applications; • Strong work ethic; • Ability to manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously during varying stages of sales engagement with strong organizational skills
