Alliance Partnership Enables Datastore to Extend SharePoint with Imaging & ECM Solutions
Milwaukee/Madison, WI, February 16, 2010 - Datastore, the region's respected name for high-quality information management services has joined forces with another Microsoft Certified Partner organization, KnowledgeLake, Inc., to provide clients with superior SharePoint ECM and Imaging solutions. The partnership specifically enables Datastore to market, install and support KnowledgeLake's imaging suite for SharePoint as a part of Datastore's broader ECM offerings for the SharePoint community. Datastore has also become fully certified under the KnowledgeLake Alliance Partner program which requires trained and qualified technical resources to be maintained as a part of Datastore's staff.
SharePoint provides a rich platform for modern ECM, Document Management and Workflow business applications. However, the powerful Microsoft platform does not provide a native capability to scan documents directly into the SharePoint repository. This is one of KnowledgeLake's core competencies while also extending SharePoint search to provide traditional ECM-like searches and document image viewing services - all native to the SharePoint environment.
